Your Banner Ad is doing more to drive Consumer confidence in your company and increase sales.
In a study conducted by SpecificMedia & ComScore, panel of 2 million consumers were divided into two groups. One group was exposed to banner advertisement and second group was not exposed to banner advertisement. Four weeks after initial banner exposure, two groups online search activity and clicks were compared.
Increased Search by 144%
Search for related brand terms (like company name) and segment terms (like dentist in Seattle) increased by 144% among consumers exposed to banner advertising, compared those who were not exposed to banner advertisement.
Increased Clicks by over 183%
The data suggests that banner advertising also has an impact on clicks for both paid and organic search results – with average lift in clicks of 183% for paid search results and 300% for organic search results.
