Increase Activity Using Social Media

Building and maintaining a social media presence for your business is a smart move to compliment your advertising, and in many cases for small and medium sized businesses, it may even be a necessity to keep up with the local competition and network with prior and potential customers.  One of the biggest appeals to supporting and sponsoring local businesses is the feel of community and friendliness that customers can build with your business, and social media pages will give you new platforms that you can use in tandem with your advertising package to drive actions and find new potential customers.

Facebook Business Page
If you do not already have a Facebook business page, we recommend making one, even if you do not use a personal Facebook account on a regular basis.  Your Facebook business page is a feature that allows you to connect with customers in your local area, share newsfeed updates in the name of your business, upload photos, collect reviews, and generate hype for upcoming events, all on one platform shared by over 60% of American consumers.

Sharing Your Video
After you approve your video, you can post it to your Facebook business page with a Facebook Share tool we provide directly on your Video Manager.  First, ensure that you are logged into your Facebook account.  Then, from our dashboard's overview, click the red tile in the middle of the page that says Manage My Video.

Below your video viewer, you will see a series of blue links, including a Facebook Share icon and a link to Watch on YouTube.  Click on the Share tool, then at the top of the following window, click the drop-down options to choose to Share on a Page You Manage, and then select your business page from the new drop-down box that will appear below the first box.

You can also include a caption on your video post.  When you are satisfied with your post, click the blue Post to Facebook button at the bottom of the page.  The post will then appear on your business page.

To post your video on other social media pages, we provide you with a link to your video on YouTube, which you can use to distribute your video on platforms including Twitter, Blogger, Tumblr, LinkedIn, and more.  On your Video Manager tool, click on the Watch on YouTube link.  This will bring up your video as it appears on our YouTube channel.

Sharing Your Coupons
Sharing your coupons to Facebook is another great way to generate buzz in your community regarding your special offers.  From your dashboard's overview page, click on the orange tile in the lower left-hand corner that reads Coupon leads.
